Organisers have announced that the UK's most diverse range of holistic therapies, demonstrations and products to be found under one roof will be on display at the Holistic Horse Show, to be held on 24, 25 and 26 October 2008 at Unex Towerlands in Essex. Make sure you make the most of the show's superb timetable by checking out the details at http://www.theholistichorseshow.co.uk/ before booking your tickets.

"In addition to our breath-taking schedule of performances in the main arena, our action-packed Holistic Horse Show Therapy Centre is showcasing different demonstrations for every day of the show," said show director Dani Paizis. "We have lined up a fabulous range of UK experts to highlight some of the most popular and some of the lesser- known holistic therapies and methods.
 Gillian Higgins with Freddie
Equine biomechanist Gillian Higgins from Horses Inside Out, will take visitors on an exciting Anatomical Journey showing how the equine body works, with the help of her obliging grey horse Freddie

These include the ancient method of shiatsu, energetic healing - BUQI for horses; the benefits of barefoot and the mysteries of the horse's mouth to name but a few."

Show sponsors Simple System Ltd are very enthusiastic about the opportunities presented by the show. Tim Warren, director of Simple System said: "To have such a targeted holistic audience is fantastic. It gives us the chance to explain the big benefits of holistic feeding to a keen and receptive audience and our highly entertaining twice- daily demonstrations should go down a storm."

The impressive Holistic Horse Show Therapy Centre timetable reads like a ‘who's who' of the equine holistic world. McTimoney Physical Therapy, a classic form of spinal manipulation will be demonstrated by a representative of the McTimoney Animal Association. The International Equine Body Workers Association will explain the importance of Sports Massage Therapy. The role of Equine Osteopathy will be presented by Johnathon Cohen from Equinost. The secrets of Equine Shiatsu will be uncovered by ‘Hands on with Horses' and the Equine Shiatsu Association. Beth Darrell from the European School of Equine Bowen Therapy will explain how this system can stimulate the body's inner ability to heal itself. The ancient Energetic Healing method of BUQI for horses will be explored by international speaker Jo Osborne. Tui Equestrian will provide advice on how to travel horses safely. Gary Draper of the Equine Dentist Company will be talking teeth, straight from the horse's mouth. The great shoeing debate, covering the pros and cons of going barefoot will be aired by KC La Pierre, RJF, MEP, PhD, founder of the Institute of Applied Equine Podiatry.

Holistic Horse Show Therapy Centre sponsors Simple System Ltd will be giving a daily ‘from bucket to barrow' presentation. Well-known feeding expert and respected author Jane Van Lennep will explain how an understanding of the horse's digestive tract can help us feed more effectively. It promises to be a very informative and at times amusing talk using unusual props.

The show's associate sponsors the BALANCE Organisation will be posing the question ‘does your saddle help your horse'. They will use a real horse to show the advantages of a biomechanically correct approach to saddling.

Popular author and innovative teacher Lynn Henry will be working with children in her ‘think like a pony' workshops every afternoon. These inspiring interactive sessions will give children and adults the chance to step into the minds of their four-legged friends and reap the benefits of learning the language of ponies.

Visitors can also relax and enjoy some amazing displays and practical demonstrations in the Holistic Horse Performance Arena. International Dressage rider Lucinda McAlpine, will provide a breath-taking dressage to music display and will also give a loose jumping demonstration to highlight the importance of "play" in teaching horses to jump. Equine biomechanist Gillian Higgins from Horses Inside Out, will take visitors on an exciting Anatomical Journey showing how the equine body works, with the help of her obliging grey horse Freddie. Leading western rider David Deptford and his beautiful Sovereign quarter horses will be joining up with the renowned canine freestyle handler Richard Curtis and his team of dogs to demonstrate the grace, balance and harmony between humans and animals.
