Surrey rider wins saddle
"It was lovely to win, and I'd like to thank Wintec and the award sponsors South Essex Insurance Brokers (SEIB)," said Moya who describes herself as a "returned rider" and enjoys dressage as well as instructing children.
Moya nominated Utterly Horses, the eventual winner of the SEIB Retailer of the Year internet/mail order category. The supplier of model horses is a big hit with Moya's daughters, aged nine and 12, who are also keen riders.
Although she does not have her own horse, Moya is using her prize saddle on Fred, a black, 16.2hh Irish sportshorse based at her local stables. "He looks very beautiful in it and it really shows off his floating paces," she said.
Nominations have opened for the 2009 BETA/SEIB Retailer of the Year Award, with another stunning prize on offer via a free draw open to all who vote.
