The UK's first Holistic Horse Show is launched
The show will give consumers access, under one roof, to everything they need to know about holistic care for horses. It will bring together the UK's leading experts, service providers and retailers to deliver the information and products demanded by today's horse and pony owners to enhance equine health and wellbeing.
The ingenious idea of Equine Physical Therapist Dani Paizis, The Holistic Horse Show will include unique and informative demonstrations within the performance arena, an intimate therapy centre and a fabulous shopping mall.
Dani said: "There has been an unprecedented growth in the range of complementary therapies available, coupled with an increasing awareness of the importance of correct tack fitting, farriery, feeding and sympathetic training techniques. This has created a strong demand for further information and access to products and services, which the Holistic Horse Show has been specifically designed to address."
The Holistic Horse Show runs on 24, 25 and 26 October. A full programme of performances includes the amazing equine biomechanist Gillian Higgins from Horses Inside Out, who will be providing a mesmerising demonstration of how equine muscles work with the help of her obliging grey horse Freddie.
A spellbinding display on the many similar techniques used to train horses and dogs will be given by leading western rider David Depford and his beautiful Sovereign quarter horses and Richard Curtis, one of the UK's leading heelwork to music and canine freestyle handlers, with his team of incredibly agile and intelligent dogs. In the more intimate therapy centre, which has a capacity for 30 people at a time, visitors can witness a vast range of complementary therapies at close hand, and see the most up to the minute holistic care products demonstrated, while in the shopping mall visitors will be able to purchase the very latest in holistic horse care products.
