Construction firm lends support to FEI European Pony Championships 2010
Managing Director Eric Bradley has been involved with horses on a personal level for many years and was delighted to be given the opportunity to get involved in the Championships.
"The company has had close ties with the College since the mid 60s - we built many of the College's agricultural buildings, as well as two indoor riding schools and we were involved in the development and construction of the pig unit and more recently, the Outdoor Animal Management Centre," said Mr Bradley.
"As well as construction work, we also manufacture all of our own bespoke joinery and steel fabrication.
"We have a very good relationship with the College and the Championships provide us with the opportunity to demonstrate our appreciation for the support the College has shown us over the years and to raise the profile of our own business."
Bishop Burton College principal and Competition President Jeanette Dawson welcomed Mr Bradley's decision to come on board as a sponsor of this prestigious competition.
She said: "The College has a long-standing and very strong association with Eric Bradley Construction Ltd and I am thrilled they have decided to support this fantastic event.
"We are hoping to attract a large number of spectators to the event from across Europe, as well as competitors, officials and their entourages so the promotional opportunities this competition presents for businesses are extensive."
Sponsorship packages are still available for the FEI European Pony Championships and interested parties should contact Clare Garrick, Head of Service, Marketing and Events on 01964 553053.
The event will also feature a large retail village and space is still available for companies who may wish to take a stand, although trade stand space is limited and more than 60% of the space has already been allocated.
