Equine nutritionist takes to the road Nutritionist Isabel Harker is taking to the road this year, on a mission to help horse and pony owners solve their feeding queries and concerns, all within the comfort of their own yard. Isabel Harker is has been a development nutritionist at SPILLERS for the past nine years. In her exciting new on-the-road role she will be swapping her desk for a hands-on approach, visiting yards, Riding Clubs and competition centres around the UK to give free expert advice on equine nutrition for every type of horse or pony whatever their size, breed, age or situation. | |
As a horse owner herself Isabel really understands some of the concerns you may have and will be happy to chat to you about your feeding queries, no matter how big or small.
She says: "Like people, horses are all different and it's important to assess their feeding needs as individuals rather than as a yard group. Regular weight monitoring is a great habit to get in to as it means you can adjust your feeding regime with confidence, as and when you need to, making sure you keep your horse or pony in perfect condition all year round. I can't wait to get on the road and start talking horse with all those lovely owners out there!"
