BHS Rescue Ponies need new home
| BHS Rescue Ponies need new home THE BHS Welfare Department is seeking new homes for two previously rescued ponies who, due to no fault of their own, need a loving new home.
Ginny is an 11.2hh mare who is excellent on the lead-rein and to handle, travels well and has been to many shows and Pony Club events. Ginny is a sweet-natured pony who has a very good temperament and is excellent to handle.
She is an ideal confidence-giving pony for a beginner rider, but when ridden off the lead-rein Ginny does get quite sharp so would need a confident rider. Unfortunately Ginny is not used to heavy traffic so we cannot say she is 100 percent in traffic. Ginny is currently based in Wiltshire.
Oscar is a 14.3hh Cob and around 14 years old. He is looking for a special home on a quiet yard. Oscar needs an experienced rider as he is quite forward going when ridden. He may spook and look at new things but he is not naughty. Oscar jumps well and has participated in Riding Club events. He will need to be gradually returned to work as he has not been ridden for the last few months.
Oscar is good to travel, he just needs a little time when being loaded to have a good look, but he is very good and sociable with other horses. This special horse needs a special home. Oscar is currently based in Oxford. | Ginny is an 11.2hh mare who is excellent on the lead-rein |
