Scottish Animal SPCA Rehoming Week
Of course, we do not encourage ‘impulse' rehoming as we advocate responsible pet ownership at all times. However, many people do not think of visiting one of our rescue centres when they decide to rehome an animal.
Scottish Rehoming Week will also allow us to increase awareness of the huge variety of animals in our care needing new homes.
"The Scottish SPCA is the only animal welfare charity that rescues every kind of animal in Scotland," said Chief Superintendent Mike Flynn.
"This means that our rescue centres look after many different kinds of animals, from the most popular pets, which are dogs, cats and rabbits, to the less common pets such as reptiles, rodents, birds and exotic animals."
If you are interested in rehoming an animal, telephone 03000 999 999 or visit the scottishspca website.
