FMBS Therapy Systems launch the New Mounty Cool Press® Equine Therapy Boots

The new Mounty Cool+Press® equine therapy boots from FMBs Therapy Systems are versatile, lightweight and easy to operate, offering a revolutionary solution to leg therapy for busy yards.  They are the latest product to join the range of physical equine therapy products available from FMBs Therapy Systems.

The Mounty Cool+Press® system provides a horse-friendly means of delivering a combination of cold therapy and intermittent compression for up to 4 legs at the same time.  The system is totally independent and is operated from a small, self contained, battery powered control box fitted to the surcingle.  There are no trailing cables or connections, allowing freedom for the horse to be walked if needed. 

The boots have twin air bags on both the lower part and the upper part of the boot.  Using the intermittent setting, air is firstly pumped into the lower pads and secondly into the upper pads helping to disperse upwards any excess fluid that has gathered in the leg. The constant setting can be used to provide support and compression while gel inserts provide optional warming or cooling action as required.
