FOUR-LEGGED FESTIVE FUN AND IT'S FREE ENTRY! Summary: Equine charity Redwings' 350-acre headquarters in Norfolk, home to hundreds of special horses, will be open for visitors on the weekend of Saturday 6 December & Sunday 7 December from 10 am to 3 pm. Entry is free.

Each day people can enjoy a number of activities including re-homing displays when you can see how the charity prepares some of its equines to go to guardian homes; tours of the charity's specialist Horse Hospital; donkey talks so people can learn more about these favourite equines; the Redwings Christmas Gift Shop; a café full of warming treats and of course plenty of Young Redwings activities for the children including mascots Red and Wings who love to ‘horse' around with youngsters!
Chief executive Lynn Cutress explains why she is hoping more people than ever will visit the Redwings headquarters this year. "Many people come and visit the horses every December and thoroughly enjoy the day but we also enjoy seeing new faces and spreading the word about our work. Entry is free; there is a lot to see and do. Plus, it's a lovely site and it's a privilege to open our doors and invite people along for what is an inexpensive and enjoyable visit for all the family."
