Sponsor a Dartmoor Pony for Christmas and get an extra special gift!

A sponsorship makes a fantastic Christmas present which lasts throughout the year.  For £15 the sponsor will get a certificate of sponsorship with their pony profile, a photo, a letter introducing them to their pony, a birthday and Christmas card and 3 updates/newsletters a year.   This year they are also offering a special gift for Christmas sponsors, a lock of their chosen ponies mane!  The ponies have agreed they don't mind a small haircut for their supporters! 

The Dartmoor Pony Training Centre whose ponies are based in Moretonhampstead have enjoyed a successful year and have re-homed many of their ponies, there are of course always more looking for homes including 2 yearlings and 3 mares with foals,  the mares and foals cannot be re-homed until the foals are weaned which will be around February.

 Their open day was a huge success with Sarah Weston a recommended associate of Intelligent Horsemanship and her colleagues  demonstrating how clicker training and non confrontational methods can work well in training these wonderful ponies. It is hoped next year there will be a 3-4 day workshop with Sarah, if any one is interested in this then please contact the DPTC.
