Barefoot or Shoeing?
Many people are looking to take the shoes off their horses but before making such a decision they want to know about the pros and cons.
Asking questions and making informed decisions is responsible ownership. Some owners are delighted with the results of barefoot, some have decided to put shoes back on. We would like to hear of your experiences. Send us an email if you have questions you would like to put to either farriers and or barefoot trimmers. If you think we should run a survey on the site let us know which questions you want to ask. Help us build a balanced picture of views, opinions and information by also asking your farrier or barefoot trimmer to email us with their thoughts, opinions and concerns. If you are working in this field or associated to this area of equine care, such as a vet or equine boot supplier etc, we would like to hear your opinions. With participation we can show the situation across the UK and bring togeather information that will help owners find a way forward for their horses, ponies, donkeys and mules.
