Don't miss out on British Eventings's Winter Competitions

Don't miss out on British Eventings's Winter Competitions

Just a reminder to those who may be entertaining the idea of competing over winter, our 2010 NAF Five Star Jump Training and Baileys Jumping And Style (JAS) series will be starting soon, so don't miss out on your chance to enter.

Jump Training starts on the 23rd January and continues to go from strength to strength, with more venues added to the series and qualification opportunities for both Juniors and Seniors; "We are delighted that NAF will once again be sponsoring Jump Training as a flagship for their Five Star range and would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their continued support" said Christopher Shaw, who is responsible for BE's training programmes and, who along with Fiona Saxby, organises the series.

Entries are flowing in for the series which kicks off at Hartpury College in mid January and is then followed by qualifiers spread around the country, culminating in mid April at the series final

"We are extremely pleased to have already received such a healthy number of entries. This is a strong endorsement of Jump Training's unique format which provides participants with a combination direct Coaching in a competition environment".

The JAS series is open for entries on the 29th of December, with the first competition in the series being held at Merrist Wood, 17th January 2010. The series again holds qualifiers all around the country with the final being held at Addington Manor on 27th February.

This year, the two highest placed riders of the Open class at the JAS final will get the chance to compete in the British Open Indoor Cross Country class at the British Open Showjumping Championships (Birmingham NEC, 8th April 2010).

Kenneth Clawson says of the series for 2010; "The JAS Team have got lots of reasons to be excited about this year's JAS series. We are proud to say we now have Baileys on board for the next three years as title sponsors and also have a great new range of fences thanks to Jump4Joy. The fact that the top two riders in the Open section at the JAS final qualify to ride at The British Open will make this year's competition even more intense!"
