BETA seeks award winning feeding advice
When making a nomination, BETA is also keen to know whether helplines have provided follow-up information and how useful this proved to be.
Award sponsor HAYGAIN hay steamers, made in Britain by Propress Equine, transform hay of any quality into dust-free, palatable forage.
"The ideal equine diet is based on a reliable supply of forage," said Brian Fillery of Propress Equine. "So as the perfect compliment to compound feeds and supplements, HAYGAIN is pleased to support this important BETA Business Award."
Private and professional horse owners, as well as feed merchants, are invited to send in their nominations for the HAYGAIN Nutritional Helpline of the Year Award. Companies supplying equine feeds, feed balancers, forages and supplements are eligible.
Nominations close on 13 January 2010, after which a short list will be drawn up for final independent judging involving incognito calls.
Nominate your favourite helpline by email to tinar@beta-int.com or post to HAYGAIN Nutritional Helpline of the Year, BETA, East Wing, Stockeld Park, Wetherby, LS22 4AW. Please supply the full name of the company you wish to nominate, your name, address and contact number, and briefly explain why your choice deserves to win.
