SILVER JUBILEE WINTER FUN FOR HORSE LOVERS
Each day visitors can enjoy a number of activities. These will include re-homing displays when you can discover how the charity prepares some of its horses to go to guardian homes; tours of the specialist Horse Hospital; talks and demos so people can learn more about the charity's special residents; the Redwings Christmas Gift Shop; a café full of warming treats and of course plenty of Young Redwings activities for the children including mascots Red and Wings who love to ‘horse' around with youngsters!
Chief executive Lynn Cutress explains why she is hoping more people than ever will help Redwings celebrate the end of a very special year. "2009 is our Silver Jubilee year so we would love the chance to invite people who have never visited us before to come and learn about what we do, as well as meet some of our special residents, including those looking for new homes. We're celebrating 25 years of equine welfare so we want more people than ever to come along to our winter Hapton weekend and meet us. Entry is free and there really is something for people of all ages to enjoy."
