Quickthorn Peregrine (Perry) Perry is a 19yo 11.3hh grey gelding.

He came into Penny Farm in November 2005 as a welfare case. He was entire and had been used as a stallion. Perry was very nervous on arrival and is still very wary of people. He was castrated soon after his arrival and began a period of intense handling which greatly improved his confidence around people. He was placed out on loan but returned to Belwade Farm at the end of 2007. We are now looking for a new companion home for Perry. Perry would benefit greatly from a one to one relationship with someone who has much patience and plenty of time to spare. He is still difficult to catch in the field, but he is much easier when in a more confined space. Due to his past, he would not be suitable to mix with mares, but he gets on well with other geldings, and is better in the company of geldings bigger than himself. Perry will live out all year round with extra hay in the field during winter. He is good for both the vet and farrier. If you can offer Perry a new home, we will expect you to be able to come to Belwade Farm to meet him.
