Regarding Appleby Fair
Dear VFH. What happened at Appleby should never be allowed to happen again, but it was a tragic accident that was viewed with shock and sadness by all the travelers and visitors alike.
The majority of people who attend Appleby are dedicated breeders who have owned horses for generations. Indeed the majority of these horses are ridden bareback with a simple snaffle bridle. Isnt this precisely what the natural horsemanship brigade strive for?!
