Question: When I leave school I would like to be an equine aroma therapist can you advise the best way to go about this? Dena Answers: What a wonderful choice! I have to tell you that I love my job; it is fascinating and rewarding every day. There are several ways paths you could take. There are only two schools that I know of that you can gain your qualifications, the first is with Caroline Ingraham and the other is GEOTA. You will find details of their courses on the internet. Both will require you to have had some previous experience of working with animals. If you would like to gain some knowledge and experience before leaving school you would be very welcome to join any of my workshops. I have an Introduction to Animal Aromatherapy and Natural First Aid for People & Animals coming up in the next few months. Take a look at the web site at www.animalaromatherapy.co.uk if you visit the courses page you will find the dates and venue's etc. I do hope this helps, if you would like to chat further do not hesitate to contact me again. Best wishes Dena |
